中国旅美专家协会优秀高中生奖学金
中国旅美专家协会（专协）是1992年成立的经美国德克萨斯州正式注册的非政治, 非盈利性的中国旅美科技专业人士团体。
为了激发休斯敦青年学生勤奋好学，积极向上，热爱关心社区的热情，专协与社会热心人士及企业设立了专协恒丰银行奖学金。此奖学金有别于其它众多奖学金，她是专为优秀高中在校生而设立，帮助青年学生为日后的求学与求职打下良好的基础。
专协恒丰银行奖学金面向休斯敦地区在校高中学生（不包括2019年秋开始就读大学的高中毕业生）。申请人除填写申请表以外，须提供申请表中所要求的证明如学习成绩单、社区义工证明等。 专协优秀高中生奖学金每年评选一次，每次5-8名学生。获奖学生将获得专协颁发的奖励证书和$1000奖金。
基金会2019年度将于9月1日开始接受申请，截止日期为2019年10月25日，获奖名单将于10月30日宣布，并于专协年会上举行颁奖典礼。
侯选人由自荐和他人推荐产生。获奖人将由评审团根据候选人所提供的材料评审决定。
中国旅美专家协会欢迎个人、公司和各种商家捐款。凡连续5年每年捐款$1000以上的团体或个人，可以设立个人基金（奖学金），可以由该团体或个人命名并用来资助特定方向的学生。
谨此，中国旅美专家协会会长及近千名会员真诚呼吁休斯顿各侨界人士和公司竭诚捐款，设立更多的专项基金（奖学金），造福华人后裔；同时也热诚欢迎休斯顿高中生积极报名参选。

2019 CAPST Outstanding High School Student Scholarship Announcement
CAPST (capst.org), Chinese Association of Professionals in Science and Technology, founded in October 1992, is a registered, non-political, non-profit, professional organization.
In order to motivate Houston Chinese students to work hard and get involved with local communities, CAPST established CAPST Outstanding High School Scholarship in November 2010. This scholarship is dedicated to outstanding high school students, helping them build a strong foundation for college and career development.
This scholarship is open to Houston area high school students (excluding recent high school graduates who started college fall 2019.) Applicants need to fill out an application form, and provide the supporting documents required, such as transcripts, awards, community service certificates, etc. This scholarship is awarded to 5-8 students each year. Each scholarship recipient will receive $1000.
CAPST Education Foundation will begin to accept applications for 2019 scholarship on September 1, 2019. The application deadline is October 25, 2019 (application materials must be received by email by this day.) The scholarship recipients will be announced by Oct 30, 2019, and receive their award at 2019 CAPST annual banquet.
Applicants can self-nominate or be nominated by someone else. Scholarship winners will be selected by the awards committee, using set criteria. CAPST welcomes individual and corporate donations. Any individual or organization who have donated more than $1000 a year for five years can have a scholarship named after them.
CAPST president and 1000 members hereby invite Houstonians and corporations to generously donate, and establish trust or scholarship to benefit our children; we also invite Houston area high school students to apply.
